Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi (the capital city of India) to process further on birding tour in Rajasthan. A representative from Colorful Rajasthan Tours would receive you and transfer you to the prearranged hotel. Change, wash and relax. Enjoy welcome dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : New Delhi
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast; proceed on Delhi tour. Sightseeing tour in Delhi takes you on an unforgettable journey where you have a wonderful opportunity to explore rich cultural attractions of India. Major attractions in this city include Red Fort (world heritage site), Jama Masjid (the largest mosque of India), Rajghat (the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi), Qutub Minar (world heritage site & longest brick minaret in the world), Humayun’s Tomb (world heritage site), New Delhi Zoological Park, Old Fort, India Gate (an imposing war memorial monument), Lotus Temple (the Bahai House of Worship), Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple), Akshardham Temple (the largest Hindu temple complex in the world), etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi – Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. On arrival at Bharatpur, check-in at the pre-booked room at Bharatpur Forest Lodge. Change, wash and relax. Later proceed for birding at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Later go on bird watching at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary now known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. It is a world heritage site. It is India’s one of most famous avifauna sanctuaries. It is best known for migratory birds but also has good different species of resident birds. It sees thousands of rare and endangered birds such as the Siberian Cranes that come here mostly during the winter season.
The park becomes a finest place in India to see a good number of migratory birds coming from far countries. According to Sir Peter Scott Keoladeo Sanctuary is the world’s best bird area.
The park is home to about 366 different species of resident birds. The park is also home 379 floral species, 13 species of snakes, 50 species of fish, 5 species of lizards, 7 turtle species, 7 amphibian species, and a variety of other invertebrates.
The park has different species of waterfowls and landbirds. Commonly seen waterfowls are common teal, cotton teal, little cormorant, great cormorant, painted stork, Asian open-billed stork, wood sandpiper, green sandpiper, common sandpiper, oriental ibis, darter, gadwall, shoveler, and Sarus cranes. Commonly seen landbirds are Grey hornbill, Marshall’s iora, partridges, quail, bulbuls, buntings, chats, warblers, babblers, bee-eaters, etc. There are many birds of prey also found at this bird sanctuary. They are Pallas’ sea eagle, crested serpent eagle, tawny eagle, short-toed eagle, osprey, peregrine, spotted eagle, imperial eagle, greater spotted eagle, etc.
The best way to enjoy birding at this park is cycle rickshaw ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 05 : Bharatpur – Ranthambhore National Park
Have a very hearty breakfast at the lodge. Later drive towards Ranthambore National Park. On arrival at Ranthambhore, check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for jungle expedition at Ranthambhore National Park. The park is well known for royal Bengal tigers but also it also has a variety of different species of birds. It is one of the most popular places in India for tiger spotting and bird watching as well. Enjoy wildlife viewing and birding. There is about 270 different species of birds in this park. The best way to jungle tourism at this park is Jeep Safari. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Ranthambhore – Chittorgarh
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Chittorgarh. Upon arrival at Chittorgarh, Colorful Rajasthan Tours will transfer you to the hotel. Visit the invincible magnificent Chittorgarh Fort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07 : Chittorgarh – Excursion to Bijaipur for Birding
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Take excursion trip to Bijaipur to enjoy birding. It is a rural area with natural lakes. Here you will see a variety or birds or prey, vulture and hornbills. In time return back to Chittorgarh. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Chittorgarh – Excursion to Jaisamand Lake – Udaipur
Take your breakfast and then take excursion to Jaisamand Lake for birding. Here you will see common birds like white-naped tit, common wood shrike, plum-headed and rose-ringed parakeet, common iora and other scrubland birds. After enjoying bird watching around Jaisamand Lake, drive to Udaipur – the city of lakes & palaces. Upon arrival in Udaipur, Colorful Rajasthan Tours will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur Sightseeing – Excursion to Bagdada Lake
After heart breakfast at the hotel proceed for half day tour of Udaipur with visits of City Palace, Lake Palace, Lake Pichola, Jagmandir Palace, Folklore Museum, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, Monsoon Palace, etc. In the afternoon, take excursion Bagdada Lake for birding. Bagdada Lake is also known for having good number of crocodiles living in. In time return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh
Have your breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Kumbhalgarh. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Visit the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort. Spend rest of the day enjoying bird watching around the fort. You will see birds like green avadavat, common rose-finch, bunting, Indian pitta, short-toed eagle, thick billed flower-pecker, jungle bush quail, etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Kumbhalgarh – Jojawar
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jojawar. Check-in at the hotel on arrival here. Spend rest of the day enjoying bird watching. There are many birding trails at Jojawar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Jojawar – Jodhpur
Take your breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada Memorial and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Jodhpur – Kheechan – Jaisalmer
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Kheechan. At Kheechan you will have opportunity to see large congregation of demoiselle cranes and other species. After birding at Kheechan, drive to Jaisalmer. Reach Jaisalmer by evening. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Jaisalmer 
In the morning enjoy bird watching at the picturesque Gadisisar Lake. It is well known for water birds. Apply permit application to visit the famous Desert National Park of Jaisalmer. Spend rest of the day enjoying bird watching around Jaisalmer city. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Excursion to Khuri Village
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed on Jaisalmer tour visiting Golden Fort, Jain Temples and many havelis. In the afternoon, take excursion to Khuri Village to see sand dunes and enjoy birding. You will see birds like black crowned sparrow lark, house bunting, desert and orphean warblers, common raven, etc. Today your permits would have got processed for the visit to Desert National Park.
Day 16: Jaisalmer – Excursion to Desert National Park
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Take excursion to the famous Desert National Park. Enjoy birding seeing many species of birds. The area of Desert National Park is a great haven for resident and migratory birds of the desert. Most commonly seen birds are eagles, falcons, kestrels, short-toed eagles, spotted eagles, harries, buzzards, vultures, tawny eagles, Laggar falcons, sand grouse, etc. It is also home to the endangered Great Indian Bustard. It is a magnificent bird found here in relatively fair numbers. Later proceed for Sam Village to see sand dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a desert camp at Sam Village.
Day 17: Jaisalmer – Jaipur
In the morning enjoy birding at Desert National Park and return to Jaisalmer. Check-in at your hotel. Change, wash and relax. In time you will be transferred to Railway station to board overnight train to Jaipur. Dinner will be served onboard the train.
Day 18: Jaipur
Arrive this morning Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and fondly known as the Pink City. Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will receive you from railway station and transfer you to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for birding around magnificent Nahargarh Fort. Later proceed on Jaipur city tour with visits of City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum. In the evening, explore local bazaars famous for handicrafts and gems. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 19: Jaipur – Agra
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra visiting en route at Fatehpur Sikri. Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai Palace and Salim Chisti Tomb are attractions at Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel. Proceed for Agra tour to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World and famed as the Symbol of Love. Also visit other monuments like Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 20: Agra - Delhi - Departure
Visit the white marble monument Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Enjoy last minute shopping. After a farewell dinner you would be transferred to New Delhi Airport to board flight back to your home / onward destination.
