Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative receives you with warm traditional welcome and transfers you to the prearranged hotel for you. Change, wash and relax. Enjoy welcome dinner and stay overnight in luxury at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed on sightseeing tour of Delhi (now called New Delhi), the city of cities. Delhi is the capital city of India. You will come across many historical and religious monuments. You will also many monuments of national importance. You will see world heritage sites declared by UNESCO; they are Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Major attractions in New Delhi in include India Gate, Old Fort, New Delhi National Zoological Park, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple, etc. After sightseeing tour in New Delhi, return to your hotel timely. Wash and relax. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra
After very hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Agra stopping en route at Sikandara to see the Tomb of Mughal emperor Akbar. Upon arrival at Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Relax. Later, proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – a white marble love monument built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving commemoration of his most darling wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and also a UNESCO world heritage site. It is India’s star tourist attraction and never fails to lure visitors with its unmatched architectural beauty. Later, visit the Agra Fort – a red sandstone fort complex built by Mughal emperor Akbar. It is also a world heritage site. Also called the Red Fort of Agra, the fort complex houses many beautiful structures. You will see amazing architectural brilliance exploring Agra Fort complex and its attractions. It time permits, you may also visit the Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb – a beautiful marble monument built by Mughal empress Noor Jahan in the commemoration of her father. This monuments is well known for its interiors
Day 04: Agra – Jaipur
In the early morning, take a battery van ride to reach at Taj Complex. Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Jaipur – the capital city of Indian state of Rajasthan. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri (a world heritage site). Fatehpur Sikri is an ancient deserted town near Agra on the way to Jaipur. It was built by Mughal emperor Akbar as his capital. But the city was unfortunately abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water. There are many monuments to visit at Fatehpur Sikri such as Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world), Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Mahal, Salim Chisti Tomb & Mosque, etc. After sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri continue to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Change and wash. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, famed as the Pink City and Gem City. First of all take excursion to Amber Fort located in the outskirts of the city on a hill. Enjoy elephant ride to ascend the fort complex. The fort complex overlooks the wonderful views of the fabulous pink city Jaipur. Return to Jaipur visiting en route the magnificent Jal Mahal located in the middle of a manmade lake. Explore major attractions of Jaipur city which includes Jantar Mantar Observatory (a world heritage site), City Palace Complex, Govind Devji Temple, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple), Ramniwas Gardens, Jaipur Zoo, Albert Hall Museum (Central Museum), etc. In the evening explore local bazaars famous for exquisite handicrafts and gems. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur – Delhi – Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the prearrange hotel. Change, was and relax. Enjoy your last minute shopping. After a farewell dinner at the hotel, you will be transferred to New Delhi International Airport timely to board flight back for your home / onward destination.
