Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi, the Capital City of India. Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, a representative from Colorful Rajasthan Tours will receive you with warm welcome and transfer you to the prearranged hotel. Change, wash and relax. Enjoy Namaste Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast; enjoy guided city tour of Delhi, the city of cities. Major attraction to visit in New Delhi include Red Fort (world heritage site), Jama Masjid (the largest mosque of India), Rajghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Qutub Minar (world heritage site & the longest brick minaret in the world), Humayun’s Tomb (world heritage site), Lotus Temple, Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple), Akshardham Temple (the largest Hindu temple complex in the world), Old Fort, New Delhi National Zoological Park, India Gate (an imposing war memorial monument), President House, Parliament House, etc. In the evening roam around famous Connaught Place. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive towards Agra visiting en route Sikandra Akbar’s Tomb. Upon arrival in Agra, a representative from Colorful Rajasthan Tours will transfer you to the prearranged hotel. Change, wash and relax. Later proceed on Agra city tour. Major attractions include Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Taj Mahal : Taj Mahal is India’s star tourist attraction. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Built in graceful white marble this magnificent monument never fails to impress its visitors coming from different parts of the world. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is also described as the Symbol of Love. It was built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving remembrance of his sweet heart wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Agra Fort : Agra Fort was built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It houses many beautiful structures and palaces inside. It is also called the Red Fort of Agra.
Itmad-Ud-Daullah: Itmad-Ud-Daullah is a magnificent marble tomb monument. This magnificent monument was built by mughal empress Noor Jahan in the remembrance of her father. It is well known for its interiors. Its interiors are considered as more beautiful than of even the Taj Mahal. That’s why; it is also called the Baby Taj or Little Taj Mahal or Draft of Taj Mahal.
Day 04: Agra – Delhi – Departure
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and stay for sometime. After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, Colorful Rajasthan Tours representative will transfer you to the hotel. Change, wash and relax. Finish your last minute shopping. A farewell dinner will be organized at the hotel in the evening. In time you will be transferred to New Delhi International Airport. Take flight back to your home/onward destination with sweet memories of Taj Mahal tour in India.
